Greenfield School is a coeducational college preparatory day school for students in preschool through twelfth grade. A strong academic program and a well rounded school experience in a family atmosphere combine to produce good students and citizens.

In its twenty-two year history, Greenfield has emphasized academics, and small classes ensure individual attention. It is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Greenfield Schools program is designed to educate the total child, to work toward the balanced development of each student mentally, physically, morally, socially, and emotionally. The primary emphasis is on academic excellence with a program that provides sound traditional academic training in the core subjects and the fine arts. Greenfield's prograrm includes computer curriculum and foreign languages in grades K-12. The Open Court reading program starts students on their lifelong Journey with books in a proven way.

The upper school places 100% of its graduates in colleges and special courses aid students in the selection process. Accelerated electives including Latin, and an exchange program with Barton College, challenge these budding scholars. Although major emphasis at Greenfield School is on academics, athletics plays an important role in the development of the total child. Greenfield has teams for girls in cheerleading, tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and golf; and for boys in soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball, and golf. Students are encouraged to participate in the athletic program. Approximately 95% of the students in grades 7-12 participate in at least one sport and many students participate in all three seasons. Greenfield's nocut policy in athletics ensures that each student will have the opportunity to compliment his academic development. This tradition of non-selective team sports has produced winning teams, good athletes, and school spirit that could not be achieved otherwise.

Greenfield is a sharing place. Young students are given an older buddy who accompanies them to school-wide functions. An extended day program allows working parents to keep their children at school until the end of the business day with the knowledge they are well cared for.

With strong academics, caring personnel, and a rich selection of extracurricular activities, Greenfield is not a place, it is a way of life. This lifestyle has academics as the cornerstone on which the complete student is built. For more information contact the school at (919) 237-8046, P.O. Box 3525, Hwy 42 West, Wilson, NC 27893.

Wilson Christian School has an enrollment of 430 students with classes for four and five year old kindergarten and 1-12 offering a strong academic program. Students are well prepared and approximately 75% of its graduates go on to some form of higher education.

Extra curricular activities include an interscholastic sports program in football, basketball, volleyball, and softball. There are also cheerleading and a well respected quiz bowl team.

Located on the west side of Wilson between Hwy. 264 and Hwy. 42 on a spacious and well maintained campus, classrooms are air conditioned and carpeted. Chapel attendance and Bible classes are mandatory. Much emphasis is placed on the building of Christian Character. Through a balance of love and discipline social graces and courtesies are taught.
