If you use Verizon as your internet provider and suddenly you cannot send your iBest.net mail, this is because Verizon made a change that requires you to change your email client.

Your outgoing (SMTP) server must be changed to outgoing.verizon.net, and your server port changed to 587. We think authentication is required, in which case you would change your outgoing email username and password to what Verizon supplied to you.

This ONLY applies to Verizon customers and probably affects only those with residential service, although that has not been confirmed.
